Arrive at Calgary Airport, clear customs, load coach with luggage, proceed
| | | Day 2: | Day 2, Friday, September 18th Southern Alberta B, D
Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, seeing dozens of dinosaur skeletons and how the world was at the time of dinosaurs. Proceed to the magnificent badlands along Hoodoo Drive, rock formations that look like petrified mushrooms, following the Dinosaur Trail, to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dinosaur Provincial Park. Agricultural visits to the renown Feedlot Alley with over one million cattle on feed in one county. Million and half acres irrigated raising 5 different types of wheat, sugar beets, potatoes, various pulse crops, four multi-nationals producing most of the world’s hybrid canola seed stocks, forage crops and many others. Time permitting see stop at Blackfoot Crossing.

We will make a stop a beef ranch on our way to Edmonton. Free time at Edmonton Mall, the world’s largest indoor. | | | Day 5: | Day 5, Monday, September 21st Central Alberta B, D
Depart to see a buffalo farm, selling a reputable line of cattle handling equipment and are very knowledgeable in cattle/elk/buffalo. Visit elk farm having established commercial drying operations. Proceed to Jasper National Park.
The national parks of Jasper, Banff, Yoho and Kootenay in the Canadian Rockies are an UNESCO world heritage site.

We continue along the Icefields Parkway, considered one of the most beautiful scenic roads in the world. Enjoy miles of captivating scenery and incredible wildlife as we head through Jasper National Park. We stop Peyto Lake plus Athabasca Falls. Pass stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls and glacier masses.
Depart for stunning Lake Louise. Time to explore Lake Louise on your own or perhaps enjoy a hike.

We head for Yoho National Park to see Emerald Lake and Takkakaw Falls. Returning we hike Johnston Canyon to the Lower Falls and for the more adventurous, the Upper Falls. (2.7km). Next, we take the Gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain for an aerial view from the various boardwalk platforms.

We follow the Kootenay River downstream; crossing the Continental Divide (Atlantic and Pacific water flow); we stop at Marble Canyon to enjoy Mother Nature’s artistic work.
We stay at Radium Hot Springs, having time to relax in the natural mineral waters, after having taken time to take pictures of Sinclair Canyon with its narrow gorge and iron red walls.

We follow the Trans-Canada Highway, through Rogers Pass taking time out to witness the engineering feat of spiral tunnels. Stop to visit dairy farm in the Okanagan area. Dinner at horse training facility with exhibition on training for cattle cutting using buffalo. | | | Day 10: | Day 10, Saturday, September 26th Central British Columbia-Vancouver B, D
Proceeding through the Similkameen Valley, our Dutch guide, highlights the large amount of organic farming produced. Tonight we are in greater Vancouver for two nights.

City tour of beautiful Vancouver including Stanley Park, False Creek, Yaletown, Gastown, Granville Island and English Bay. Afternoon is free to explore your favorite section of the city.

Take early morning ferry to Vancouver Island. First we see the MacMillian Forest of tall Douglas Firs www.vancouverisland.com/parks/?id=286 . Departing we tour the town of Chemainus with its famous huge heritage murals on the sides of buildings, transforming a small coastal town mill town into the world’s largest outdoor art gallery, www.chemainus.com Next we visit Duncan with its numerous totem poles, www.downtownduncan.ca/duncan_totem_tour.htm . We arrive in Victoria, the capitol of British Columbia province for our two night stay. | | | Day 13: | Day 13, Tuesday, September 29th Victoria B, D
This morning visit Butchart Gardens, 130 acre floral extravaganza carved out of an old limestone quarry. Enjoy free time to wander the quaint downtown of Victoria with its inner harbour and famous British Columbia Museum or perhaps go whale watching. Enjoy the lights on the buildings in the evening.

Late morning we take the ferry back to the mainline, heading to Vancouver Sea Island Airport for our flight.
