| Day 1 (D) Check into hotel, relax after arriving at Waterloo International on Northwest or by coach
Dinner in Paris on the river
Day 2 (B, L, D) This morning the town of Paris, with its cobblestone buildings, taking time to stroll along the main street, which is built on the bank of the river. Option to visit Mary Maxim, Canada’s best known craft house. Next we visit the village of St.George with its unique shops including Robert Hall where we see how pewter is made. We head next for Port Dover, for lunch of fresh pickerel or yellow perch. We have time now for strolling the shops, many nautical themes, others with antiques, visiting the Harbour Museum or just beach watching.
Enjoy Walters Family Dinner Theatre on their family farm. Overnight.
Day 3 (B, D) Brantford, home of hockey player Wayne Gretzky. Visit the Bell Homestead National Historic Site, including a tour of the Bell’s 1870s home, restored and furnished as it was when Alexander Graham Bell first conceived the idea for the telephone here in 1874. The Henderson Home next door, Canada’s first telephone business office, provides a glimpse into the telephone’s evolution. Option to see Canadian Holstein Museum with its history of the diary industry. After lunch and a stroll through the lovely gardens on the bank of the Grand River we visit the Kanata Iroquoian Village with its longhouse, palisade, and cedar tree maze, where history is combined with fun learning environment. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 (B, D) Travel to London, the birthplace of Insulin. Banting House National Historic Site occupies the house in which Dr. Banting lived and practiced medicine. Lunch . Option to see Guy Lombardo Musuem (memories of the big band that played so many New Years) or take a tour of the Labatt “Hometown” Brewery from beginning of barley malt and hops to the finished product. Official beer tasting of 6 different brands of Labatt to follow. Head for Port Stanley Terminal Rail Train for a ride. Time for French Fries at Mackies. Overnight.
Day 5 (B, D) On our way to Stratford we pass through St. Mary’s, called Stonetown, appropriately with its numerous limestone buildings and home of St. Mary’s cement. Witness white swans on the Avon River. After lunch, we take a backstage and costume warehouse tour of the Shakespearean festival. Farewell dinner

Day 1 - VANCOUVER (D) Arrival and transfer to our hotel. Evening reception and dinner.
Day 2 - VANCOUVER (B,D) Breakfast
This morning, a city tour of beautiful Vancouver including Stanley Park, False Creek, Yaletown, Gastown, Granville Island and English Bay. Lunch on own. Afternoon free to relax, shop or take in the Seawall. Depart for dinner in Vancouver.
Day 3 - VANCOUVER - KELOWNA (B, D) Breakfast. This morning we travel through the Fraser Valley with its lush fruit orchards, incredible weather and spectacular scenery. Stop at Minter Gardens. Lunch enroute. Depart for Kelowna, check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 4 - KELOWNA (B, L, D) Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Morning free to relax; shop and explore on your own, in this picturesque town. Visit to The Jammery which produces their own confitures; lunch on the patio.
Depart the hotel for a tour of the Kelowna Land & Orchard Company. Learn how they use old Asian technology to grow “the perfect apple!”
Depart for wine tour and tasting at one of the many wineries. Return to hotel for overnight.
Day 5 - KELOWNA-ROCKY MOUNTAINS-BANFF (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Continue traveling northward through the Okanagan Valley towards Revelstoke. Lunch stop (on own) in Revelstoke. Continue on through Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park and through Rogers Pass, which has some of the most scenic highway views in the world! Make a stop at the Interpretive Centre, which tells the stories of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Trans-Canada Highway and the route through the Rogers Pass. View the Spiral Tunnels, built to overcome North America’s steepest railway grade. Arrival for dinner and overnight as we enter the Rocky Mountain Parks.
Day 6 - BANFF (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning, we continue on to the Columbia Icefields Parkway. Enjoy miles of captivating scenery and incredible wildlife as we head for Jasper National Park. Pass stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls and glacier masses. Highlight of the day…. a memorable ride on the 1,000 foot thick Columbia Icefield aboard a Sno Coach at Athabasca Glacier! Depart for stunning Lake Louise. Lunch on own at Lake Louise. Time to explore Lake Louise on your own or perhaps visit one of the tea houses in the village. Dinner at the local establishment. Return to hotel for overnight.
Day 7 - BANFF (B) Depart for Banff. Free time to enjoy the shops and beautiful sights of a thrilling gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for aerial views of the Rockies. Lunch on own atop the mountain. Tour of the area including Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain and Mount Norquay and the mysterious hoodoos. Depart for a special dinner show, “Oh Canada, eh!” – a humourous and informative look at this magnificent country and its people. Return to hotel to relax.
Day 8 - BANFF-CALGARY (B, L) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Rocky Mountains, heading east towards Calgary. Visit to Dinosaur Museum in Drumheller. Return to Calgary to our hotel.
Day 9 - CALGARY (B, D) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for return flight

Day 1 - Ottawa (D) Arrive Ottawa and transfer to our downtown hotel. Time to relax taking in some of the many gardens or walk over to the canal. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Ottawa (B, D) Option in the morning to take in one of three of the National Art Gallery, the Museum of Civilization or the new Canadian War Museum. Time to explore the famous Byward Market and have lunch on your own. This afternoon we observe embassy row including the Prime Minister’s and Governor General’s residents as we head for a tour the RCMP Musical
Ride stables. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Quebec City (B, D) We depart for Quebec City. Lunch on route. Upon arrival we will have a guided tour of the upper walled city followed by Lower Town to explore the cobbled streets of Quartier du Petit Champlain to see this UNESCO site. Dinner at a French restaurant and overnight inside the walled city.
Day 4 - Lower St. Lawrence (B, L, D) Late morning to St. Anne-de-Beaupre to visit the Basilica with its medieval styling. The crossed shaped building is covered with granite and illuminated by 240 stained glass windows. Additional time available to see life-sized bronze figures along the hillside depicting the Way of the Cross or to see the world’s largest painted panorama, a 45 foot high and 365 foot circumference painting created in the late 19th century. Next stop at Canyon Sainte-Anne whose stone walls date back to the Ice Age and were craved by the 244 foot falls. Footpaths suitable for all ages, along the canyon and across three suspension bridges. Lunch enroute Dinner and overnight in 3 plus star hotel in Charlevoix with its imposing landscapes
Day 5 - Saguenay and the Whales (B, L, D) After breakfast we board our cruise ship for whale watching, home to the greatest variety of big whales. The Estuary of the Saguenay at the mouth of the St.Lawrence provides unique opportunities for whale watching. Lunch on our own. Off to Montreal to our 4 star hotel in the centre of Montreal. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Montreal (D) City tour of Montreal, including old port section, a lively 95-acre Repository of buildings dating back to the 17th century. Balance of day at leisure in the world’s second largest French speaking city, balanced with its English heritage and more recent infusion of people from Asia, Africa and all parts of Europe. Enjoy farewell dinner of local French cuisine.

After breakfast we board cruise for whale watching, home to the greatest number of big whales, after which we sail up the Saguenay Fjord, larger than the Norwegian, admiring the wild beauty of this estuary. Lunch on the cruise. Time to browse the interpretive centre with information about this unique estuary. Upon debarking we head to Nouvelle France, a creation of 18th century life of the French pioneers. Overnight and dinner in Saguenay at 3 plus star hotel.
Day 6 - Lac Saint-Jean and the Wild Animals (B, D)
After breakfast we make our way to the wildlife centre where passengers are caged on a traveling tram with a guide while the animals are free to roam and stare at the people. Look for black bear, deer, moose, buffalo, elk, caribou. Other animals in their natural setting include polar bear, grizzly bear, lynx, cougar and many others. This afternoon we head for the L’Ermitage on Lac Bouchette to enjoy this quiet place of tranquility built by the Franciscan Capuchins for our overnight stay and dinner. The monastery, chapels, hotel, inn, and museum are located on a lake in the midst of 240 hectare forest laced with walking paths
Day 7 - Trois Rivieries (B,L,D)
We follow the Maurice River, taking in its scenery as we head to the St. Lawrence River and historical Trois Riveries, the second establishment after Quebec City. After lunch we visit the historical site of the first North American factory that supplied Napoleon’s army with ammunition. Overnight at our 4 star property and farewell dinner in Montreal.
Day 8 - Montreal (B) Time to pack, relax and head to the airport for return home.

North to Georgian Bay where we will have time to visit the Martyrs’ Shrine (seen by Pope John Paul II on his pilgrimage), the recreation of 17th century headquarters for the French Jesuit missionaries and time permitting the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. Before checking into our 3 star hotel we will see North America’s largest historic outdoor mural and stunning mural gallery. Dinner
Day 4 - St.Jacobs (B, D) This morning we visit the charming village shops of St. Jacobs
In the afternoon a tour Mennonite tour telling of their way of life plus we get to walk across the only covered (kissing) bridge in Ontario. Overnight at our 4 star hotel. Tonight we experience the charm of a local country inn.
Day 5 - Cambridge (B, L, D) Tour of the Toyota automotive assembly plant. Visit to Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory and lunch
In the afternoon we visit the boyhood home of Canada’s longest serving and 10th Prime Minister. Dinner
Day 6 - Niagara Falls (B, D) We head for Niagara Falls. Stopping on the way at the Welland Canal Centre and witness ocean freighters bypass Niagara Falls. With a morning tour along the Niagara Gorge, enjoying hilltop views and manicured gardens; past the world’s largest operating floral clock and monuments to the War of 1812. Your Pass includes entrance to Journey Behind the Falls tunnels, ride on Maid of the Mist cruise to the foot of the falls, entrance to White Water Walk along the category 6 rapids on the Niagara River, entrance to the Butterfly Conservatory and all day transportation on the Niagara People Mover coaches. Day 7 - Hamilton (B, L, D)
Visit Royal Botanical Gardens including the famous Rock Garden and Teahouse. Lunch at Dundurn Castle, meaning fort on the water, once home of Sir Allan Napier MacNabb followed by tour of the castle and grounds showing the rich life of the 19th century. Farewell dinner.
Day 8 - Toronto (B) Time to pack, relax and head to the airport for return home.
