Our Agri-Cultural Tours may be tailored to a specific interest such as dairy, sheep, cattle, specific crops or general overview of farming in a specified area.

Agri-Cultural Tours will customize itineraries for pre-formed groups both for travel by Canadians wanting to visit farms or for visitors to Canada.

Agri-Cultural Tours is a founding member of ATOI (Agricultural Tour Operators International) with members throughout the world.

Madison Dairy Expo
Day 1 – Chicago (D) A.C.T. Tours Escorts to meet group at O’Hare airport on arrival in baggage claim area. Proceed to hotel to check in.

Day 2 – Chicago-Madison (B,D) Full American Breakfast at hotel. Depart hotel for Chicago Board of Trade, arrival in time for the opening bell, and a video after explaining the action on the sales floor. Travel to Madison. Local Sightseeing including the Old Cheese Factory in the morning Visit a local Dairy Farm Arrive in Madison and check into Madison Hotel. Dinner.

Day 3 - Madison (B, D) Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Madison Dairy Expo. Full day to explore the Expo. Lunch on own. Pick up from Dairy Expo and return to Hotel. Dinner.

Day 4 - Madison (B) Buffet Breakfast at hotel. Depart Madison for transfer to O’Hare airport

Day 1 - VICTORIA (D) Welcome to beautiful Victoria! Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - VICTORIA-VANCOUVER (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Victoria city centre with time to browse the shops around the pretty harbour and enjoy High Tea on your own. Arrive at the world famous Butchart Gardens, a 130 acre floral extravaganza carved out of an old limestone quarry. Time to browse on your own and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Depart for Swartz Bay for ferry for return trip to Vancouver. Dinner and overnight in Vancouver.

Day 3 - VANCOUVER (B,D) Breakfast at hotel. This morning, a city tour of beautiful Vancouver including Stanley Park, False Creek, Yaletown, Gastown, Granville Island and English Bay. Lunch on own. Afternoon free to relax and get used to time change. Depart for dinner in Vancouver.

Day 4 - VANCOUVER - KELOWNA (B,L) Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we travel through the Fraser Valley with its lush fruit orchards, incredible weather and spectacular scenery. Visit to dairy and cash crop farm. Option to see Minter Gardens if time permits. Lunch enroute Depart for Kelowna, dinner on own, check-in and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5 - KELOWNA (B,D) Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Morning free to relax; shop and explore on your own, in this picturesque town. Lunch on own. Depart the hotel for a tour. Learn how they use old Asian technology to grow “the perfect apple!” Dinner. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 6 - KELOWNA-ROCKY MOUNTAINS (B, D) Breakfast at the hotel. Continue traveling northward through the Okanagan Valley towards Revelstoke. Lunch stop (on own) in Revelstoke. Continue on through Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park and through Rogers Pass, which has some of the most scenic highway views in the world! Make a stop at the Interpretive Centre, which tells the stories of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Trans-Canada Highway and the route through the Rogers Pass. View the Spiral Tunnels, built to overcome North America’s steepest railway grade. Arrival for dinner and overnight as we enter the Rocky Mountain Parks.

Day 7 - YOHO-JASPER-BANFF (B) Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we continue on to the Columbia Icefields Parkway. Enjoy miles of captivating scenery and incredible wildlife as we head for Jasper National Park. Pass stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls and glacier masses. Highlight of the day…. a memorable ride on the 1,000 foot thick Columbia Icefield aboard a Sno Coach at Athabasca Glacier! Depart for stunning Lake Louise. Lunch on own at Lake Louise Time to explore Lake Louise on your own or perhaps visit one of the tea houses in the village. Dinner on own.

Day 8 - BANFF (B,D) Depart for Banff. Free time to enjoy the shops and beautiful sights of A thrilling gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for aerial views of the Rockies. Lunch on own atop the mountain. Tour of the area including Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain and Mount Norquay. Return to hotel to relax. Dinner at one of Canmore’s many restaurants, then overnight.

Day 9 - BANFF (B,D) Breakfast at leisure at the hotel. Sleep in this morning to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and a relaxing morning exploring mountain village of Canmore on your own. Return to hotel to freshen up. Depart for a special dinner show, “Oh Canada, eh?!” – a humourous and informative look at this magnificent country and its people. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 10 - BANFF-CALGARY (B, D) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Canmore, heading east towards Calgary. Visit sheep or cattle ranch. Continue on to Calgary with a city tour on the way to our hotel. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 - CALGARY (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Free time this morning to explore Calgary and catch a little “stampede fever”. Lunch. Visit to Dinosaur Museum. Farewell dinner

Day 12 - CALGARY (B) Breakfast at hotel; depart for airport for flight.

Canadian Eastern Tour
Day 1 - TORONTO (D) Continue on to Kitchener-Waterloo. Check-in and time to relax before dinner and overnight. Check-in at our hotel in Waterloo. Buffet dinner at country pub and overnight.

Day 2 - SOUTHERN ONTARIO(B,D) Breakfast at the hotel; chance to visit the St. Jacobs Country Market, a short walk from the hotel. Depart for a tour of Mennonite Country, the area around St. Jacobs and Elmira where the Mennonite people live and farm. Lunch on your own and time for browsing the shops in St. Jacobs and the outlet mall. Depart to view 1500 head in the sheep feedlot. The farm also have purebred Angus beef and they grow cash and feed crops of soybeans, corn, canola, wheat, oats and hay. Option to see feedlot nearby. Dinner at the farm. Return to Kitchener-Waterloo for overnight.

Day 3 - NIAGARA FALLS (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to dairy farm on the way. Depart for Niagara Falls. Arrive at one of the World’s Wonders, Niagara Falls. Lunch on own at the Falls. Time to explore the many tourist sights at the Falls such as “Maid of the Mist”, a Journey behind the Falls, white water walk, the Butterfly Conservatory and all-day free transportation around the Falls. Dinner where you can dine by the Falls. Return to your hotel in Kitchener-Waterloo

Day 4 - TORONTO-OTTAWA (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ottawa. Visit sheep farm (or similar). Depart for Ottawa. Check-in at Ottawa hotel and time to freshen up. Dinner and return to hotel for overnight

Day 5 - OTTAWA-QUEBEC CITY (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Ottawa city tour. Royal Canadian Mounted Police Riding Stables – A visit to the Mounties and their majestic horses of the Musical Ride. First a visit to the display area to learn about the RCMP heritage and history. Then, tour the stables and meet the horses, view the Farrier Station and walk through the Tack Room. Plus an opportunity to see the stately carriages used in royal escorts of Her Majesty the Queen. Lunch on own at Byward Market which still has a farmers’ market which was begun in the 19th century. Depart for Quebec City. The hotel is located inside/near the old walled city, within walking distance to the major attractions.

Day 6 - QUEBEC CITY (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Quebec City tour including the Plains of Abraham and a stop at the observatory hill for a view. On to the historic old “walled city” for lunch on your own and time to stroll among the quaint shops and galleries. On to Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica. Rest of afternoon free to explore on your own to enjoy the Summer Festival taking place on the streets. Dinner in old Quebec City. Return to hotel to relax & freshen up. Dinner and return to hotel for overnight.

Day 7 - QUEBEC CITY-MONTREAL (B,D) Breakfast at leisure at the hotel. Depart for Montreal. Lunch on own in Old Montreal. City tour of Montreal including Notre Dame Basilica. Check-in at hotel; relax and freshen up; final gala dinner. Day 8 - MONTREAL (B) Breakfast at hotel. Depart for the airport for flights home.
